#ENDALZ FEST FOUNDATION

SPARK! On the GO! is a groundbreaking program designed to bring an immersive, hands-on community experience that allows those with Alzheimer's and all other dementias to keep that connection to the community they love.  

Partnering with the Alzheimer's Association in supporting the local Walk to End Alzheimer's in La Crosse, WI.  Efforts are to raise continuous awareness and advocacy in support of those living with Alzheimer's and all other dementias.

 This innovative program aims to create meaningful and engaging experiences for individuals living with dementia, fostering connections, and enhancing their overall well-being.  This camp experience will engage participants and their caregivers in "camp" like experiences during the spring and summer months.

Funds were used to expand the offerings of the OASIS Respire Care program.  This program provides much-needed support to caregivers and their loved ones. 

In collaboration with the local LaCrosse Country ADRC,  funds raised were able to purchase of new Dementia Live® training materials that were used to train local first responders, police officers, and youth across the Coulee region by immersing participants into what it may be like to live with dementia.  Also, the creation of “At-Home Activity Kits” for those living with Alzheimer’s and all other dementias during the winter months when travel to programming is challenging. 

 A program that welcomes caregivers to participate in fostering new connections and preserving individual identity. There are activities offered for caregivers and opportunities for education and conversation to improve the caregiving experience.
